METHODOLOGY FOR SCORING FACTORS INFLUENCING THE OCCURRENCE OF A FIRE HAZARDOUS SITUATION FOR ABOVE-GROUND GAS STATION TANKS

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to develop a methodology for scoring factors affecting the probability of depressurization of an above-ground liquefied petroleum gas tank. The basis for the formation of rules for scoring influence factors was based on regulatory documentation in the field of design and operation of equipment for an automobile gas filling station using above-ground tanks. The work used methods of analogy, study of documents and results of activities. The result of the work is a developed methodology for scoring factors influencing the likelihood of a fire situation. The results obtained can be used in assessing fire risk for facilities where accidents associated with the formation of an explosion and fire hazard are possible
